Ron welcoming everyone to open their hearts to the true meaning of Christmas.  Many heard the message for the first time in their lives.
We invited a special speaker, Brother Itoh from Izumi, to share a Christmas message.  He is originally from Hachinohe and still has relatives in the area.  Two of them attended the Christmas outreach.  It was their first time to come to church.
A few days before Christmas.  Hannah got so tired that she fell asleep perched on top of a box of clothes that Debbie was sorting.
We made a LOT of waffles with the new waffle maker that we got for Christmas!  They're great warmed in the toaster oven, and make for a quick breakfast.

We made a snowman in the afternoon.

December 27, 2002.  It will take a few days, but this laundry WILL eventually dry!  Our high this day  was around 20 degrees Fahrenheit.
This gives new meaning to the term "frozen stiff."
I guess Samuel's pants aren't ready to wear yet either.
Joseph enjoying some December snow.
Samuel- sure is easier coming down than carrying this thing up the hill.
The littlest guy, Elijah, pulling the biggest sled.
Joseph ice skating.  (He's not quite ready for any fancy spins on the ice, although he spun on his back end a few times!)  The outdoor city rink is free on Saturdays this winter.
